Very thin individuals may struggle with cellulite too. Cellulite is a gradual process that results in the production of dimples in the skin. The basic problem is a vicious circle caused by:

Poor local tissue circulation
Poor lymphatic drainage
Clusters of fatty cells - which can expand with weight gain

These basic problems lead to the accumulation of tissue toxins (break down products of cell metabolism) and poor tissue oxygenation. In response to this unfavorable environment, bands of connective tissue become tough and shorten down. The tough fibrous connective tissue bands pull the overlying skin down forming dimples.
